Accessibility
We want everyone who visits ntwcff.com to feel welcome, and to be able to access our content, browse our film programme, and take part in the festival.
To help make this a positive experience for everyone, we follow the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)'s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone. The guidelines set three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA), and we have chosen Level AA as our standard.
We are working toward full Level AA conformance and review the site regularly. Some areas still need improvement, and we're addressing them as we go.
This website links to content and services created and maintained by other organisations. Ticketing is handled by Eventive, and film submissions are handled by FilmFreeway. These platforms have their own accessibility practices and we don't control their interfaces. If you run into a barrier on either one, let us know and we'll help where we can.
Accessibility at Our Venues
If you have questions about accessibility at a screening or festival event—including wheelchair access, accessible seating, parking, captioned or described screenings, or assistive listening—please contact us before you attend and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Tell Us If Something Isn't Working
If you had trouble with any part of our site or any part of attending the festival, we want to hear about it.
